Ok I guess I'll use HTML now. Here's a mini-essay:

Calcification

Or "The Calcification of Space and Time".

As people get older, they accumulate. As they accumulate things, those things fall into the spaces around them, and some of those spaces become calcified with things that are never used, and thus those spaces may no longer be used. As they accumulate interests, in the process of "keeping up" with those interests, their time becomes calcified with endless new episodes and articles, and thus that time may no longer be used.

Sure the things might be useful some day. Sure the up to date knowledge of those niches might provide inspiration some day.

Calcification is a term for the buildup of calcium in some location in the body which can cause bad things, like arthritic bone spurs, or Hax Money's calcified wrist tendon. Calcium in and of itself is not a bad thing, it's usually good. Spending time on what you like, and keeping things that you like are both usually good. However, the goals you want to achieve can become impossible if too much of your time and space are locked in place.

It's important to recognize calcified space and time when you see it, and ask yourself whether it really needs to be that way, or if it could be removed and the space and time used more flexibly.

Clean your space. Check your phone only once a day. Stop watching youtube. Stop watching twitch. Ignore the algorithms. Pick one interest, one goal, and dive deep, then pick another one.
